Troon Primary School Science Week

On behalf of the pupils and staff at Troon Primary, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support during Science Week. All of our pupils thoroughly enjoyed working with you and meeting your animals – they learned a great deal about how animals live, grow and about how they contribute to our eco-system. Your workshops received high praise from staff and pupils alike – you have a fantastic manner with the pupils and they find your discussions very engaging! We are extremely grateful to you for travelling to Troon and bringing along so many different species. Science Week was a great success – we have received extremely positive feedback from pupils, parents and staff – thank you very much for helping to bring learning to life for the pupils. We definitely achieved our outcomes, which were to: provide opportunities for the pupils to learn about Science through active, hands-on activities and to foster a life-long interest in science.
