One of our animal handlers made the trip to Heatherbank Nursing Home today to give everyone the chance to meet all the animal again. It's always a much anticipated visit, and we had a lot of laughs yet again. All the residents were there to see, touch, and hold the animals. It's a great experience, giving everyone hands on interaction with animals, reptiles, birds, and insects. It always proves very beneficial and gets everyone involved and talking. It stimulates mind, body and soul. We work with residents of all abilities and special needs.
